This shot show the engine and the tubeframe front end. Note the
lack of inner fender liners and the tube details surrounding the strut
supports. Also the upper radiator support tube is removable to make
engine/tranny removal a piece of cake.
This shot shows the right side of the motor along with better detail
on the tube chassis, If you look closely, you can see the external
pickup cover on the oil pump. The oil filter is a remote Canton canister
and the oil line is plumbed directly into the block. Note the Tilton
Super Starter offset nose for the small flywheel.
Another overall shot of the engine compartment. Notice how open the
tube frame portion of the front end is?
Drivers side of front suspension. 4 Pot Wilwood Calipers on Wide
vented Coleman Rotors. Afco coilover hardware and Suspension Spring
Specialist springs.
Different view of drivers side. Note the way we engineered the
sway bar setup. We used Speedway Engineering spline arms and sway
bar. This arrangement allows us to get lower ride height with no
worries of wiping out the sway bar (Already did that once). Also
fresh air duct to center of vented rotor. All this stuff was custome
engineered and machined. How about that trick adjustable T/C Rod?
Good views of the tube frame.
This is a shot from the right side of the car looking thru to.....Oh
my!.....Is that a Tilton Super Starter I see?? Accessibility on this
chassis is excellent. The aluminum sheet is hiding the Oil cooler
from road crap.
This is a shot from the left rear showing the Coilover conversion as
well as 2 pot Wilwood brakes and the swaybar setup utilizing Speedway Engineering
components again.
Here's a peek on the inside. This where all the work gets done!
That's a Coleman hanging dual pedal assembly and in the foreground is a
Tilton Brake Bias Adjuster. MSD and Coil Mounted on firewall.
Fire Nozzle pointing at me from the tranny tunnel.
Here's a peek inside the trunk. The cell is a Fuelsafe cell surrounded
by the tube chassis. Battery on the right and the fuel pump and filter
above. That's a fire nozzle pointed into the area from the five pound
Halon fire system.
