We now stock Beta Motorsports Subie STi R180 Side Axles:
Differential side axles that allow the installation of a Subaru WRX STi R180 LSD differential into a Datsun S30 or 510 using the stock Ujoint halfshafts or WCR CV Axle kit. Custom machined out of 4340 billet and heat treated to a hard Rockwell and then Cryo-Treated, these shafts have the Subaru 27 spline axle and the standard Datsun halfshaft flange. Use at your own risk, but this is the best we have been able to attain over the years and we feel it is correct.
Like all R180 diffs from late 70's to today, they are 115mm ID Ring Gear and will have a large "K" cast in
the top of the case, just like Nissan diffs. We swap the Torsen centers into Nissan cased gear pairs to obtain
what ever gear combination we need like 4.11, 4.38 and 4.63.
